Allow Viewing Detailed Expenses by Past Week, Month, and Year
I use this app to track a large number of expenses, and I’d like to suggest an improvement to how historical data is displayed.
Currently, once a week, month, or year has passed, all of the expenses from that period are essentially reduced to a single total. While the total is useful, it means the detailed information is no longer easily accessible from that specific time period.
Would it be possible to let users select a past week, month, or year and view all of the expenses and their associated details from that period? I know it’s currently possible to find older expenses by searching or scrolling through the history, but that’s much less efficient when looking for transactions from a specific date range.
Having the ability to access detailed expense records directly through a date, week, month, or year selection would make reviewing financial history much faster and more convenient. It would preserve the value of the data over time instead of having it effectively become just a summary total after the period has passed.
